Ron built Tacilent after years running predictive risk and intelligence programs at the FBI and EY, where he saw the same gap over and over: no software built to forecast portfolio risk and dollar impact for mid‑market investors. He started Tacilent to bring national‑security‑grade tradecraft to PE, family offices, and M&A teams so they can see niche, actionable deal and portfolio risks early—and protect P&L and IRR instead of reacting after value is already gone.

He later teamed up with his co‑founder Josh, who had scaled a bootstrapped startup to $40M ARR as COO. The two had first worked together 20 years earlier and reconnected to build a platform that combines deep risk intelligence, AI, and operator discipline for investors who cannot afford surprises.
